Paper and cardboard

In the paperbin (the blue bin) you can put both paper, cardboard and empty beverage cartons. Make sure the paper is clean and without bits of food.
Rinse, fold and dry the cartons before putting them into the blue bin. If you wish to participate in the Beverage carton lottery (Returkartonglotteriet), you fold six cartons and put them inside the seventh. The lids can stay on and peek out of the carton "log".

Put your name and phonenumber (you can also put the name and number of an organization) outside on the seventh carton holding the six others inside. You may win nice cash prices! The lottery is run by Grønt Punkt As.

Residual waste/non-recyclable waste ruins the quality of the paper if it is mixed along with the collected paper. If you are not sure if the type of paper you have belongs in the blue bin, it is better to put it in the green bin for residual waste/non-recyclables. Here are some examples on what can be put into the blue bin and what cannot be put in the blue bin.
